3. Information We Do Not Currently Collect Through Website Checkout

FastChargeSupplements.com does not currently provide direct online checkout for FastCharge products.

Purchases are currently completed through external marketplaces such as Amazon.

Accordingly, FastChargeSupplements.com does not currently collect payment-card details or process payments for purchases completed on Amazon.

When you purchase through Amazon, the personal data used for that transaction is collected and processed by Amazon in accordance with Amazon's own privacy policy and terms.

4. Sources of Personal Data

We may obtain personal data:

  • directly from you when you contact us, subscribe to communications or otherwise provide information;

  • automatically when you use our website, including through cookies and similar technologies;

  • from Shopify and service providers used to operate our website;

  • from service providers that support communications, analytics, security or website functionality; and

  • where applicable, through Shopify Enhanced Services when Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled.

5. How and Why We Use Personal Data

We only process personal data where we have an appropriate legal basis.

Operating and securing the website

We process technical and device information to:

  • deliver the website;

  • maintain website functionality;

  • protect the website and our systems;

  • detect security problems and misuse;

  • troubleshoot technical issues; and

  • maintain the reliability of our services.

Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating, securing and improving our website.

Responding to enquiries

We use information submitted through our contact form or other communication channels to respond to questions, provide support and manage communications with you.

Depending on the nature of the enquiry, the legal basis may be:

  • our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating our business under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; or

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Newsletter and marketing communications

We send marketing emails only where you have agreed to receive them.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link contained in our marketing emails or by contacting us.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

Analytics, personalization and non-essential technologies

Where required by applicable law, we use non-essential cookies, analytics, personalization and advertising technologies only after obtaining your consent.

The legal basis for such processing is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may change or withdraw your choices at any time through the Cookie preferences control available on our website.

Legal and regulatory obligations

We may process personal data where necessary to:

  • comply with applicable laws;

  • respond to lawful requests from regulators or public authorities;

  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or

  • maintain records required by law.

Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Where necessary to protect our legal rights or defend claims, we may rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes including:

  • essential website operation;

  • security;

  • remembering privacy preferences;

  • analytics;

  • personalization; and

  • advertising or measurement where applicable.

Essential technologies may operate where necessary for the website to function.

For visitors in regions where consent is required, including the European Economic Area, non-essential technologies are controlled through our Shopify cookie-consent system.

You can choose to:

  • accept non-essential technologies;

  • decline them; or

  • manage individual preferences.

You may later change these choices through the Cookie preferences link on our website.

Declining non-essential cookies may reduce the amount of analytics, personalization or marketing information that is collected, but should not prevent access to the essential informational features of the website.

7. Shopify

Our website is hosted and operated using Shopify.

Shopify processes personal data relating to your access to and use of the website in order to provide its platform, security, infrastructure, analytics and related services.

We currently have Shopify Network Intelligence enabled. This enables certain Shopify Enhanced Services.

Through these services, Shopify may process information about interactions with our website together with information relating to interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants in order to provide services such as:

  • customized experiences;

  • analytics and reporting;

  • product and service improvement;

  • security and fraud prevention; and

  • personalized advertising where permitted and consented to.

Information relating to your interaction with our website may therefore be shared with Shopify and relevant service providers, including entities located outside the country in which you reside.

Where required in the EEA and other applicable jurisdictions, consent is requested before device data collected through non-essential technologies is used for purposes such as personalized advertising.

When Shopify acts as an independent controller for its Enhanced Services, Shopify is responsible for its own processing activities and for responding to certain privacy-rights requests relating to that processing.

For further information, please review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

8. How We Share Personal Data

We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to the following categories of recipients:

Shopify

We share information with Shopify as required to host, operate, secure and improve our website and to provide Shopify services and Enhanced Services.

We may use service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as:

  • website hosting and technical infrastructure;

  • email and communications services;

  • analytics;

  • IT and security services;

  • cloud storage; and

  • professional support.

These providers may process personal data only as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Professional advisers and authorities

We may disclose information to:

  • accountants;

  • legal advisers;

  • auditors;

  • insurers;

  • regulators;

  • courts;

  • law-enforcement authorities; or

  • other competent public authorities,

where necessary to comply with law, protect our rights or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Business transactions

If our business or part of our business is reorganized, sold, merged or transferred, personal data may be disclosed as reasonably necessary in connection with that transaction, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

We do not sell personal data for money.

Certain processing carried out through Shopify Enhanced Services may, however, fall within definitions such as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under privacy laws in some jurisdictions. Where such laws apply, relevant privacy controls and opt-out mechanisms are made available.

9. Amazon and Other Third-Party Websites

Our website contains links to external websites and platforms, including Amazon and social-media services.

When you follow an external link, you leave FastChargeSupplements.com.

The external provider may independently collect information including your IP address, device information, referral information and information you subsequently provide to that provider.

Amazon

FastCharge products are currently sold through Amazon.

When you click a SHOP AMAZON or individual product link and proceed to Amazon:

  • Amazon's own privacy policy and terms apply;

  • Amazon is responsible for personal data it collects through its platform;

  • payments and purchase transactions are processed through Amazon; and

  • FastChargeSupplements.com does not collect your payment-card information for that Amazon transaction.

We recommend reviewing the privacy information provided by Amazon before completing a transaction.

Social media and other external services

The same principle applies to Instagram and any other external website or service linked from FastChargeSupplements.com.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of websites that we do not control.

10. International Transfers

Some of our service providers, including Shopify and its affiliated companies and subprocessors, may process personal data outside Cyprus or outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred to a country that has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection, appropriate transfer safeguards will be used where required by law.

These safeguards may include:

  • European Commission adequacy decisions;

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission; or

  • other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

11. How Long We Keep Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, security and dispute-resolution requirements.

The appropriate retention period depends on the type of information and the reason for processing it.

For example:

Technical information

Technical, analytics and security information is retained in accordance with the applicable purpose and the retention practices of Shopify and other relevant service providers.

We may retain information for longer where required by law or where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

Our website infrastructure is provided through Shopify and related service providers.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should therefore avoid sending unnecessary confidential or sensitive information through ordinary website forms or email.

13. Your Rights Under the GDPR

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you;

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data;

  • Erase personal data in circumstances provided by law;

Where Shopify acts independently as controller for Enhanced Services, you may also exercise relevant rights directly through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

14. Marketing Choices

You may unsubscribe from FastCharge marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

You may also contact us at:

If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
